The River Lilly, the longest running eco-tour boat on the St.Lucie River, is owned and operated by Captain Eddie and First Mate Stephanie Hamrick.
Eddie Hamrick is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captain with a 100-ton Masters endorsement. As a Florida native, he has spent his entire life learning about the state's diverse ecosystem. He previously operated a scuba diving charter boat and worked in the custom aquarium industry.
Stephanie Hamrick is a flight attendant with over 17 years of experience serving the public. Her love of nature and commitment to the environment started as a young girl in Idaho and has always been a focus in her worldwide travels.
The Hamricks are members and supporters of the St Lucie Audubon Society as well as volunteers at Savannas State Park in Port St Lucie. They pledge to continue the tours in the spirit of the original owers Dana and Deena Wade, who have recently retired.
In addition to their commitment to raising awareness of the importance of protecting environmental lands the Hamricks also focus on the need to give back to the local community via charity and fundraising.
